I went hunting in Hillsdale county on November 1st, 2010.
I was up in my climber about 4:00 pm on Monday it was a beautiful day to be in the field.
About 6:00 pm I caught movement about 50 yards in front of me in some thick stuff but I was not sure what it was,
After about two minutes I saw a tail flicker and could pin point it’s location. When I saw the rack ,my heart started to race.
I never saw a rack like this in the woods before.
I started to soft grunt and doe bleat to bring him in and he responded, I could not believe he was heading my way.
He was about 23 yards away to my left when I took the shot with my longbow and cedar arrow.
He ran off over the hill. I decided to stay put for a good hour. When my hunting partner stopped by I told him what happened and
That I will let him go lay down for the night and track him in the morning.
This is what we found the next morning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
